Please note, that Deadbeef build for Mac is not code-signed, and therefore Gatekeeper will not allow it to run by default.

Here’s how you can bypass Gatekeeper:

• Right click Deadbeef icon, then hold the Option key and click Open
• The next dialog will tell you the application cannot be run – press Cancel
• Repeat the same step – Right click, then hold Option and click Open

Linux distribution packages

Please note: these packages install deadbeef to /opt/deadbeef.

Install using sudo dpkg -i on Debian/Ubuntu distros, or sudo pacman -U on ArchLinux.
