DeaDBeeF player has been created by Oleksiy Yakovenko, with contributions from many different people (see about box in the player for more details).
Linux and Mac builds are distributed under the terms of GNU GPL 2.
Most of the code is licensed under ZLIB license, but there are portions of code, especially in 3rd party modules, using other licenses. See the individual source code files, and the supplied COPYING files, for details.
